At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize patients at increased risk for limb loss and identify opportunities for earlier diagnosis and referral.

  2. Apply current evidence-based medical therapies for peripheral artery disease (PAD), diabetes, and cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome.

  3. Identify patients who would benefit from multidisciplinary management, including vascular evaluation, wound care, podiatry, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

  4. Recognize when certain minimally invasive image-guided therapies may offer effective treatment options and understand appropriate referral pathways.

  5. Integrate current advances in vascular and neurovascular care into everyday primary care practice to improve patient outcomes.
