Job Overview
Buffalo Vascular Care is seeking a motivated, efficient, and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Office-Based Lab (OBL) team. This is a fast-paced vascular and interventional setting serving patients who require procedural care.
We are looking for someone who works well under pressure, stays organized, anticipates needs, and thrives in a high-performance clinical environment. We will teach the right person to scrub for angiographic cases and handle basic controls for c-arm, x-ray, and ultrasound equipment within scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Obtain vitals, review history, and ensure accurate documentation
- Assist physicians and clinical team during procedures
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure
- Maintain sterile field and support procedural workflow
- Room turnover and equipment preparation
- Coordinate efficiently with front desk, techs, and providers
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Ideal Candidate
- Active NYS LPN license
- 2+ years clinical experience preferred
- Vascular, surgical, interventional, or procedural background a plus
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Calm under pressure
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
